If you look real carefully, in slow motion (0.06%), the burning-Tower layer is faded in from white in the shot. The building in front is a picture.

This is from below, and includes some close-up zoom-ins from the "fire". The smoke from WTC1 looks glued on in the picture. Note the "drop-smoker", that is ejected. I have no idea what this is meant to symbolise.
